IdxPro

An additional script to convert !Index indexes to !Idx format is to be released in the future. But in the meantime !Idx has the following features:
  • Flexible text - index entries not dependant upon document text
  • User Styles for index text entries and also each page number
  • Entries and sub-entries managed automatically
  • No duplicate index entries due to markers ending up on the same page
  • Allows for 'See XXXXXXX' rather than page numbers in index
  • Page numbers and Chapter numbers can be included
  • Search and auto-mark functionality available
  • All files contain version numbers for easy upgrades
  • Entries do not depend upon styles but use bookmarks
  • All index information held in Tagged Data fields and saved with the document. (This means that it only works in release 2.48 and above)
  • User configurable options for format of index.
  • Totally OP Applet code for optimum OP integration (>1700 lines)
