An additional script to convert !Index indexes to !Idx
format is to be released in the future. But in the meantime !Idx has the following
features:
- Flexible text - index entries not dependant upon document text
- User Styles for index text entries and also each page number
- Entries and sub-entries managed automatically
- No duplicate index entries due to markers ending up on the same page
- Allows for 'See XXXXXXX' rather than page numbers in index
- Page numbers and Chapter numbers can be included
- Search and auto-mark functionality available
- All files contain version numbers for easy upgrades
- Entries do not depend upon styles but use bookmarks
- All index information held in Tagged Data fields and saved with the document. (This means that it only works in release 2.48 and above)
- User configurable options for format of index.
- Totally OP Applet code for optimum OP integration (>1700 lines)
